Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Lake Charles Office of
Public Information is to identify, formulate and dispense information in
an accurate, comprehensive, timely and understandable manner to media
outlets and all affected audiences; and to promote our city from
historical and cultural aspect through all available means of
communication, education, relationships and resources.

Officers
Sgt. Mark Kraus:
In charge of Public Safety
information, including fire department and police department news.
Josh Marcantel: Josh is responsible for publicizing city departmental
news. He works closely with the local media to update residents on
community-wide activities. He also maintains the story content on the
city’s website as well as the monthly city newsletter.
